Vector Rifle to Pistol Conversion
It is not possible to convert a Vector CRB (Rifle) into a Vector SDP (Pistol). Per ATF, firearms originally manufactured as a rifle cannot be converted into a pistol!
Converting Your Vector CRB to a Short Barrel Rifle (SBR)
KRISS USA offers a factory conversion service for customers who wish to convert their Vector CRB into a Short Barrel Rifle (SBR).
How to Get Started:
- 1. Submit a Request
- Contact our Customer Service team to begin the process. You will need to provide all required documentation, including any applicable NFA paperwork.
- 2. Ship Your Firearm
- Once your service request is approved, you may ship your Vector CRB to us for the conversion.
Factory Conversion.
- 3. Factory Conversion
- Our technicians will service your firearm and replace the original 16″ barrel with a new 5.5″ or 6.5″ threaded barrel, depending on what is specified in your paperwork.
Note:
We do not cut down or rethread existing barrels, and we do not offer custom barrel lengths. Only new 5.5″ or 6.5″ barrels are available for this service.

Parts for Self-Service Conversion to SBR
The Vector’s barrel and trunnion assembly are not typically sold separately, as the barrel is riveted into the receiver and not intended to be user-serviceable.
However, if you are confident in your ability to perform this work, a replacement barrel and trunnion assembly may be available as a special order, depending on current parts availability.
