Ammunition Compatibility and Recommendations

Only use new, high quality, commercially manufactured ammunition of the correct caliber with internal ballistic pressures which are in strict accordance with the specifications of the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute (SAAMI) or are Commission Internationale Permanente pour l’Epreuve des Armes à Feu Portatives (CIP) certified.

Ensure that your ammunition is free of defects, dirt, debris, lubrication, or anything that may cause malfunctions.

Specific Ammunition Recommendations

We do not provide recommendations on specific ammunition makes and/or types.

Correct Caliber Ammo

Only use ammunition of the correct caliber for your Vector. We do not recommend using any other caliber ammunition apart from what your Vector is chambered in. Using incorrect caliber ammunition for your Vector will void your warranty and may lead to property damage and/or personal injury.

+P and +P+ Ammo

+P ammunition can be used with the Vector. This will greatly increase wear and tear.

+P+ ammunition is not recommended for use.

Casings Other Than Brass

Using aluminum or steel-cased ammunition is not recommended.

Reloaded / Remanufactured Ammo

NEVER use non-standard, reloaded, or “handloaded” ammunition which has not been subjected to internal ballistic pressure testing.

Ammunition that has not been commercially manufactured cannot be guaranteed to meet KRISS USA firearm operation parameters and may have many other manufacturing and quality variables. Ammunition that has been improperly manufactured may fail to fire or may stress the firearm to a point that excessive internal pressures are generated which can damage or even rupture the firearm, causing personal injury to the shooter or those in the immediate vicinity. The use of any “handloaded,” remanufactured, or otherwise “out-of-spec” ammunition will void your warranty.

Ammo for Vector 22

For best results, use high quality .22LR ammunition with a rated velocity above 950 FPS and with a lead or copper-tipped bullet.

Avoid using brass-tipped and/or low quality ammunition.
